LV= Community photo gallery rules

If you are entering a photo and/or caption on the LV= Community, please read the rules below.

The Community photo gallery is open to residents of the UK (excluding Channel Islands and Isle of Man) as long as they are over 18 years of age.

To enter a photo and/or caption you must register on the LV= online Community at www. LV.com/community.

No purchase is necessary.

By entering a photo and/or caption you agree to comply with, and be bound by these rules.

Once you have registered on the LV= online Community you can upload as many photos as you like.   
Liverpool Victoria Friendly Society Limited ("LV=") are unable to accept photos by post.

Photos uploaded to the Community must not exceed 5MB in size and must be provided as jpg, gif or png images.

Photos must not show any product brand names or contain obscene or indecent material within the imagery, including nudity, pornography or foul language. They must not contain defamatory content, including but not limited to, words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or socioeconomic group.

You must hold all rights for visual content you upload, either as the owner of the image or because you hold written consent supplied to you by the owner of the image (for example: a professional photographer). You grant a worldwide, perpetual licence to LV= to feature any or all of your photos in any of its publications, websites and/or
in promotional material connected to the Community.

Prizes

LV= may from time to time decide to award discretionary prizes relating to photos uploaded to the Community photo gallery.

The prizes may be money, vouchers or something else, as decided by LV=.

The prizes will be paid either by cheque, direct transfer into the winners specified bank account, by post, or by another method agreed by LV=. The prize doesn't include any expenses arising in relation to the prize. LV= reserves the right in its reasonable discretion to substitute any prize with an alternative prize of equal value.

No prizes will be awarded to staff of LV=, Community or the immediate family of staff, or anyone directly connected with the Community.

LV= don't accept responsibility for photos that are lost whilst uploading onto the LV= Community.

Prize winners will be notified from time to time by email, post and/or telephone. LV= will make every effort to contact winners. If LV= can't contact a winner an alternative winner might be selected and notified accordingly.

Any and all winners agree to participate in publicity relating to their photos and to the publication of their name, likeness and county of residence, for the purposes of announcing the winner and for related marketing purposes.

LV= reserve the right to amend the LV= Community photo gallery rules at any time.

English law applies and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts shall prevail.
