One of the reasons I stay with LV= on motor insurance is

If you protect it, your No Claim Discount entitlement will not be affected as long as no more than two car insurance claims have been made in the last five years.

If you guarantee it, it will last for the life of your car insurance policy.

As far as I know no other company provides "guarantee" policy's

I thought how competetive LV was with Car Insur until you add the benefits(inc in other Insurance quotes) - eg Courtsey Car £14.90 - which took it up to what the present premium is - so no business for LV

I don't agree this "guarantee" is unique among insurance companies (and I could name at least two other companies that offer this or a better guarantee). I don't use LV= for motor insurance, although I have asked for a quoite online for the last few years. On most occasions the online system failed with an incomprehensible error midway through: if this affects lots of customers, LV= must be losing a lot of business.

Before anyone asks "so why didn't you ring up?", this is because I usually think about renewing insurance when LV='s offices are closed. Like many others I work during the day and evening and weekend customer support is particularly valuable.
